Eggy's Games

I am excited to finally announce the release of Dopamine Eggs. A game I dreamed of making years back but it only has finally reached the light of day today. It uses the old clicker idle mechanics, but my twist is that almost every single item in the game is it's very own self contained minigame. It was a big undertaking. It features over 30+ cards, 150 items, over 15 buildings and 1000's of little descriptions and icons.

My favourite element, is the Battle Boat. This is a fully self contained card game, every card features characters from my old games on Eggy's Games. The game features over 30+ player cards and over 30+ enemy cards all with different abilities. I needed to design a game that was simple enough to be a minigame, yet evolved enough that kept players hooked. Using a 3 slot system I believed I managed to get it right. How cool is it being able to revive Eggy's Games characters as cards? just a great use.

Then we even have the mage, just a simple sprite hitting the egg, but it's like playing your own RPG character he self levels in idle mode and you apply statistics and cast spells you unlock. I loved making these self contained systems because I really could just go crazy with them.

Now above all else I wanted to set out with a game that I released a cryptocurrency coin called Dopamine Eggs and it can be used to buy buildings in the game.

Now I tried my best here to blend the best of both worlds, the game is still playable without it, but connecting your wallet and buying a few things will unlock special buildings so you have more to play with.

The beauty of my idea is that it doesn't actually spend the crypto in your wallet. Say you have 1000 coins. It will read 1000/1000 in the game, so you can spend it down to 0/1000 and still retain all the coins in your wallet. The idea here is if they sell the coins and you no longer have that 1000, the buildings will auto deactivate.

I believe I came up with a solution to blend the best of all worlds. Allows people to buy and hold, allows them to get special things and on top of it all they never lose access to coins or spend it.

Time will tell if my idea is any good. Either way, I will just be happy to have my own crypto connected game up forever that people can play for months and years.

The beauty of these games is they are so long it might keep players hooked for much longer than my previous games. This was a side project I decided to devote some time too before I go back to my Steam release game, that is still in the works but this game finally gets to see the light of day.
