Wai-Con 2010

Just got back from Wai-Con in perth and it was amazingly fun!!. So many pictures taken of all the cosplayers and such you can view here >

All the cosplayers around in anime costumes. The sexy anime schoolgirls :P the bleach and naruto. Mass pokemon. Gotta love it. We went in the super smash bros 128 player tournament, and survived the first round then got slaughtered in the second.

It's pretty cool having a crowd cheer you on playing a game, such a different experience. Was pretty funny cause I got the ultimate power up then kirby sword dived off the edge killing myself and the whole crowd did a awww...boo.... Was pretty hilarious.

THERE WAS SO MUCH POCKY STICKS OMG. I also bought mario mushroom, shurikens, kirby and yoshi plushies. My friend got an anime mousepad with boobs as the hand rest of the anime girl :D

Saw Eminence, they are the orchestra that made the music for Soul Caliber, evangelion, some WoW, Chronos cross and much more. Was pretty impressive. They did an encore of super mario at the end playing an intense version. Fairly inspiring music for game making :)

Met up with RubberNinja from NG here at his booth promoting GamerTonight. Was pretty cool seeing him in person.

All in all, great time of being super nerdy! Next year I'm definitely gonna dress up.

Lately it's just.

I'm moving outta home in 3 weeks or so (AGAIN) Which the good news is I'll have to make much more games since I'll be paying rent and food. Gar, bills! argghhh, laundry?! noo. Dishes!? GAY. But a kick in the butt is probably what I need so it will be good. Plus I'm moving in with my other flash friend Drew who I work with sometimes like The Infection. So we should start getting lots done. I hope, maybe.

Besides that my new game is close to done but stalled from general life crap lately. Like Christmas! god I hate it. Waste of time and money. I'd rather be playing video games then having to sit around with family. Gosh! Just HORRIBLE! DON'T THEY REALISE I HAVE ZOMBIES TO KILL!

Another thing is my Eczema has been bad. It's pretty much my lifelong curse to balance out my awesomeness. I've had it since birth and get it pretty much as bad as you can. Though I guess it kept me indoors which led to gaming and game making, so in a way it had one good outcome. It's so sore currently though on my neck that I can't turn it cause it hurts too much from the redness after I scratched it :(
